This is an electrical, pipe-mounted component, so we recommend installation by a qualified technician.

PRO TIPS

• Apply a thin layer of thermal grease to the thermostat's sensing head before clamping it down, it fills microscopic surface imperfections for better heat transfer, especially important on pipe-mount applications like this one. It's a heat-transfer aid, not an adhesive, so don't use it to bond the switch in place.
