INSTALLATION

DIY-friendly with a wrench, no special tools required.

PRO TIPS

• Conical-seat fittings seal on the metal taper itself, not a rubber washer, so they don't need to be cranked down hard, snug it by hand, then give it a firm quarter-turn with a wrench. Overtightening is what cracks the seat and causes a weep that no amount of extra torque will fix.
